Can we care for God? Ask yourself that…. We know, or hope we know, that God cares for us, loves us and provides for our care, our safety, our provisioning. Here’s the question: ‘Can we reciprocate?’

Our connection to God seems to be one-way doesn’t it? Sure, we must acknowledge that God is the source of all good, all power, all Mind; Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent. And we are one with God, the expression of God; created in His image and likeness. So perhaps that makes us more than mere recipients of all that–?

Can we love God back?

The Bible explains: “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

Micah 6:8 KJV

So much is embraced in that idea. To DO justly, to LOVE mercy, to WALK humbly… and note: ‘with thy God’. We are instructed to walk with God…

And the more we consciously — simply, do that? We are worshiping God. Honoring the one good, eternal, infinite Love.
